3 REASONS WHY MUMBAI INDIANS CAN LIFT IPL 2020.

CAN MUMBAI INDIANS LIFT IPL FOR 5TH TIME? LETS SEE!!
#1 EXTRA-MOTIVATION TO WIN IN AN EVEN NUMBERED YEAR.

Mumbai Indians have lifted the IPL crown four times, but all of those victories have come in odd numbered years(2013,2015,2017,2019). But they have never achieved the same feat in even numbered years. The most successful even numbered year was 2010, where MI reached finals of IPL but tasted defeat from the hands of Chennai Super Kings. In other odd numbered years their performance was okay. They finished 5th three times in IPL 2008, 2016,2018 & finished 3rd and 4rth in 2012 & 2014 respectively. Given all these, MI paltan will have an extra motivation to do it in an even numbered year and prove to all who say “MI ALWAYS WINS IN AN ODD NUMBERED YEAR.”

#2 ENORMOUS DEPTH IN ALL DEPARTMENTS.

After IPL Auction 2020 and the IPL trading window was over, Mumbai Indians ended up with 6 Batsmen, 9 Bowlers, 6 All-Rounders & 3 Wicket Keepers. Chris Lynn, Nathan C. Nile & T. Boult are Mumbai’s marquee purchases in the trading window and auction. The MI paltan have the two best bowlers of the world in Bumrah & Boult. Furthermore, the arrrival of Lynn adds to the headache of selecting their opening pair. They also have a lot of world-class Pacers like Malinga, Boult, NC Nile, Mcclenaghan. De Kock & Kishan would have to battle for the wicket – keeping spot. With so much of options, lets see who would get the knod. Do you guys think that this MI team has more depth than CSK’s 2011 team? Comment Below.

#3 THE RETURN OF THE MVP : HARDIK PANDYA.

No-one would hesitate to call Hardik Pandya, the Most Valuable Player of MI. He was in the form of his life in IPL 2019, where he smashed 402 runs with a strike rate of 191.42 & took 14 wickets. But his surgery made his return to the IPL doubtful & some doubted that whether he’ll be in the same form in which he was in IPL 2019. But guess what, He came back with a bang. He returned from his injury & blazed his way to an unbeaten 158 off just 55 balls in DY Patil Cup’s semi-final. He struck six fours & twenty sixes in his innings. He also scored 105 off just 39 balls in another league game. With the red-hot form of Hardik Pandya is back, expect him to again become MVP of MI this year.

WITH ALL THESE FACTORS, DO YOU THINK MI CAN LIFT IPL TROPHY IN AN EVEN NUMBERED YEAR. COMMENT BELOW..
