The Caribbean Premier League or CPL; is a league held in Caribbean. It is one of the famous T20 leagues. Recently, one of the most coveted experts in cricketing world; Aakash Chopra picked his all-time CPL XI. Let’s look whom he has chose:

His top-order consisted of three left handed batsman. He chose Chris Gayle and Colin Munro as his openers.

He said,” Chris is an incredible player. He’s kind of player who can; single handedly win matches for his team. Colin Munro is also a great player. Though he isn’t that great in IPL; but when he is in form; he’s unstoppable. I think he plays best when he isn’t in pressure. Due to the pressure factor, he may not be that great in IPL.”

He chose Nicholas Pooran at no.3 and also made him wicket-keeper. Aakash called Pooran a ’24-karat gold’ in CPL.

At no.4, he chose Pakistani player Shoaib Malik. 5th position in his team went to Kieron Pollard. Aakash also made Pollard the captain of his team. He stated T20 is in Kieron’s DNA. He also called him ‘Lord of T20s’.

At no.6; he chose one of the most dangerous all-rounders in T20; Andre Russell. Andre Russell is a player who has dominated every league be it IPL or CPL. Another player who has dominated all T20 leagues in the world; was chosen by Aakash at no.7 – DJ Bravo. He chose another all-rounder at no.8; Sunil Narine.

Bowling department: Aakash chose Sheldon Cottrell at no.9 He said, ” I like his celebration. His style of bowling is also very different. He’s little bit expensive; but he takes wickets. “

At no 10 he chose; IPL 2008 Purple Cap winner; Sohail Tanvir. Last spot in his team went to Krishmar Santokie.
